The series of shots I took while this Cormorant tried to swallow (and keep to itself, as the next shot will address) was the highlight of this trip for me. With Anhinga Trail not having much in terms of species diversity, I invested some time hoping for feeding activity images. This one was taken an hour or two after sunrise, before the light had become overly harsh, and I was in position next to the water along the path not too far from the entrance. This cormorant came up with a nice catch (I think it might be a Blue Tilapia, but correct me if I'm wrong), and I took quite a few frames as it carried it around, and tried (unsuccessfully) to swallow it before the others came after it.
