We had just arrived at Rancho Naturalista, and went to our rooms to unpack our gear and prepare for some shooting.  We opened the doors which led to a wonderful deck with multiple hummingbird feeders.  I set up my gear, and we were actually shooting these birds from just inside our room!  The direction of the light was not ideal this time of day, and I used a little flash to give some light to the front of the body, and tried to capture the backlighting of the bird's tail feathers which was so beautiful to watch.
