Welcome to the Website of DLC Photography.
I started building this site in February 2001, as an outgrowth of my passion for Nature Photography. My goal is to share my favorite images and provide helpful technical information on nature and digital photography in general. In addition, Photography Workshops to a variety of exotic locations are now available. You can use the Navigation Bar above to quickly access the various areas of this site.
Costa Rica Photo Safari (Feb. 26 - March 8, 2010): This trip will be my 6th Photography Workshop to Costa Rica! There is a maximum of 10 participants - space is still available, but check your schedules and sign-up now. Details here.
Amazon River Voyage, Oct. 23 - Nov. 1, 2009 (with International Expeditions): This excursion was recently completed (click here for details), and as expected, was spectacular! Images and report are now online - click here! Update: A YouTube Video from this trip, available in High Definition, can now be viewed here.
Brazil's Pantanal Photo Expedition: Nov. 1 - 10, 2008: This tour was a tremendous success. We encountered a wide variety of bird and mammal species in the Pantanal, and were overwhelmed by the size and power of the Iguazu Waterfalls. Images and a report are online here.
YouTube Videos: I have recently begun to do some work using High Definition Video, and have created a YouTube Channel here. Included are two videos taken during the November 2008 Workshop to Brazil. I have also posted one, which uses images from all of my Costa Rica trips since 2004 - here.
