This is one of a multi-shot sequence as well. I don't know if this was a full mating attempt, or some preliminary behavior, but it sure provided an excellent photo opportunity. In the interest of full disclosure, the eye of the lower Osprey in this shot was partly obscured by its nictitating membrane, so I 'borrowed' from the previous image, taken a fraction of a second before.
